In Singapore, the horses' personal attendant is called a Syce. The team of Syces at Michael Clements Racing Stables is a strong one, drawn largely from the traditional Malay horsemen.

The skilled Syces are complimented by a high-quality, team of experienced and well-recommended team of expatriate horsemen and women who ride track work for Michael. With thoroughbred racehorses, experience and dedication are critical ingredients to success. They are found in abundance at Michael's stable.

Michael's wife, Annelie, is a professional horse woman in her own right, with twelve years of experience as an assistant Trainer.
